Wireless 2D communication via Wi-Fi
The WIFI2CAN module enables communication with all 2D CAN modules of a 2D system, e.g. to perform setting changes via Wi-Fi.
Unlike the USB2CAN, the WIFI2CAN does not require a physical connection to the system it is communicating with.
The module itself can operate in two different modes simultaneously:
Network mode:
The module can connect to an already existing network, e.g. a company’s Wi-Fi network.
It is also possible to connect to a network provided by a smartphone.
Hotspot mode:
The module can also provide its own hotspot to set up a Wifi network for communication. The hotspot provided by the module is secured by the WPA2 standard.
