2D Data Recording × Aspar-KSB Technical Academy: Training the Next Generation of Motorsport Engineers

The next generation of motorsport engineers now trains with the same data analysis tools used in the Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships.

We are proud to announce our partnership with the Aspar-KSB Technical Academy, integrating the 2D Analyser into their Master programme in High-Performance Motorcycle Engineering. As part of this collaboration, we supply the Academy with professional software licenses — giving students direct access to the same tool our customers rely on at the highest level of motorcycle racing.

The Aspar Team brings 16 World Championship titles to the programme. Their engineers and technicians teach directly alongside students at the Aspar Circuit, where sessions combine classroom instruction with live on-track work. Real motorcycles, real riders, real data.

Through the 2D Analyser, students work the way professional race engineers do: loading telemetry from track sessions, comparing lap data, analyzing braking points, throttle traces, and vehicle dynamics — and translating what they find into concrete setup decisions. Not a training version. Not simplified examples. The actual professional software.

For us, this partnership reflects something straightforward: engineers who learn on professional tools don’t need to catch up when they enter the industry. The 2D Analyser is already the standard in Moto2 and Moto3. Students at the Aspar-KSB Technical Academy now work with it from day one.

The gap between training and competing should be zero.
